Abby and Beth invited me to take photos during their playfully curated, colourful wedding reception. From eating delicious cake, to family photos, the nature scavenger hunt, temporary tattoos, and speeches that left no eyes dry, Abby and Beth created an experience of pure love for their guests. All within their stunning Northern property just uphill from a winding river, friends and family were encouraged to explore the grounds, mingle, play lawn games, and make memories. With wine and wood-fired pizzas, the evening tipped into the perfect September night – the moon shining like a mirror above the party, all dancing and spinning together. A close friend sang special songs to them, toasts were made all the way from Ireland, cowboy boots stomped on the mural of the dance floor. When it was time for me to leave, the lights went on shining and the music went on playing as I got whisked away on a golf cart driven by these two enlightened souls, with a pizza in my hands and sore cheeks from smiling. What a beautiful day to forever hold in their hearts.
